Twitter is, without a doubt, one of the most popular social networks. We're here to talk about its Android app, which has a beta and alpha testing program.
Apart from Stable, the Twitter app had two different release tracks: Alpha and Beta.
The beta release track is no longer open to public opt-ins, but the Alpha release track is. You can gain access to early-stage features by switching to the Alpha release track.
To become a member of Twitter Alpha:
- Join Twitter's Alpha experimental Google Group.
- Open a beta opt-in page on Google Play and click the "Become a tester" button (if you haven't already joined the Alpha group, this page won't be available).
- Update or reinstall the Twitter app from Google Play.
