WhatsApp's online Web version has been upgraded with a built-in custom Sticker Maker, allowing you to convert ordinary photographs from your computer into stickers that can be transferred over the messaging service. To access it, click the paperclip (attachments) button, then choose Sticker and upload a picture. In addition to WhatsApp's online version, the functionality will be available in the company's desktop apps within the next week.
Images may be altered after they've been submitted to create the ideal sticker. An outline can be drawn around the subject of a photograph to remove the backdrop, and photos can also be cropped (though always in a square aspect ratio). Emoji, text, and other WhatsApp stickers may be stacked on top of your sticker creations as well.
Making your own stickers for WhatsApp is nothing new, and there are a slew of third-party applications for iOS and Android devoted to the task. However, having it incorporated directly into the service's desktop and browser versions is a helpful feature, especially as it allows you to alter photographs with the accuracy of a mouse pointer.
