The Google Pixel 6A, according to leaked images, is a more compact device with no headphone jack

The device may be the first midrange Pixel device that doesn’t have a headphone jack

Rendered images of the Google Pixel 6A, first reported by 91Mobiles, have been leaked by reliable leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer (@OnLeaks) and give us a glimpse of what the midrange device may look like.

The leaked images show the Google Pixel 6A without a headphone jack.

The rendered Pixel 6A, which is part of the Pixel A-series lineup, is nearly identical to the standard Pixel 6. It appears to have the same black camera strip on the back with two cameras and a flash, as well as a hole-punch selfie camera on the front. The device appears to have a USB-C port on the bottom, as well as a speaker and a microphone.

According to 9to5Google, there appears to be no fingerprint sensor on the device's exterior — this could mean that the scanner is placed beneath the screen, as with the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, for which Google recently issued an update to address the scanner's performance issues.

The Pixel 6A does not appear to have a headphone jack. If the rendered images are correct, the Pixel 6A could be the first midrange Pixel device to lack one; previously, the Pixel 5A, Pixel 4A, and Pixel 3A all had headphones jacks, unlike their Pixel 5, Pixel 4, and Pixel 3 counterparts.

The Pixel 6A is also much smaller than the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, measuring only 152.2 x 71.8 x 8.7mm and featuring a 6.2-inch display (via 91Mobiles). This is significantly smaller than the size of a standard Pixel 6, which measures 158.6 x 74.8 x 8.9mm and has a 6.4-inch display.
