The world's first iPhone with a USB Type-C charging port sells for $ 86,000 via eBay

You're probably aware that there's a lot of talks these days about not using the iPhone's USB type C port. This is because the European Union is attempting to establish standards in this area, and Apple is not responding positively.

In the meantime, a USB Type-C iPhone X designed by Swiss robotics student Ken Pillonel sold for as much as $ 86,001 in an eBay auction.

He removed the standard lightning port on an iPhone X and replaced it with a USB Type-C port.

The redesigned iPhone X was auctioned off on eBay, and it received over 116 bids. The price remained stable at $ 85,000 last week, and by the close of bidding on November 11, it had risen to $ 86,001.

However, Piloner warns that any user who purchases the device should not perform actions such as resetting, upgrading the operating system, or deleting data, as doing so risks inactivating the device.
