Twitter Expands Twitter Blue Subscription Service to Users

Twitter Blue, the platform's $2.99/month subscription service, is now widely available across the United States, looking for any potential Android suckers who forget that Twitter is actually free to use and want essentially no return on investment.

Twitter Blue provides subscribers with a variety of benefits; however, Android users are significantly worse off than iOS users. Twitter Blue, for example, includes ad-free reading experiences from The Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, USA TODAY, and The Atlantic. There's a long list of ad-free reading sites, but Android users don't have access to it.

Another fantastic feature is the ability to customize the look of your Twitter app, with custom themes and even customizable navigation buttons that quickly take you to the section of Twitter that you enjoy the most. That is, of course, not available for Android.

What can Android users expect from Twitter Blue?

A new Top Articles section, which is essentially a different kind of Trending page, with articles that have been most shared in your network being placed on a list, is actually exclusive to Android. Boring.

General Twitter Blue benefits include an Undo Tweet button for those who can't take the time to proofread tweets before sending them, bookmark categories, and access to Twitter Blue Labs. Blue Labs allows you to test Twitter features ahead of everyone else, but it is only available to desktop and iOS users.
